How to Make Money in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories

Making money in GTA: Vice City Stories is actually quite easy once you proceed past the first ten or so starting missions. Before that, money can seem quite scarce, but it is still possible to start working on a fortune. Remember as well that the only thing you absolutely need money for in the game is ammunition. Otherwise, most things can be acquired by "alternative" methods. (This is a crime game, after all.)

- 1
  Kill pedestrians for small amounts of money early in the game. Yes, this seems harsh, but if there are no police around, there is no consequence. You can get about $50 off of each person you run over.

  Go to the Civil Asset Forfeiture Impound by Viceport. There is a list of cars they want on the wall. You can steal these cars and take them to the Impound for a few hundred dollars per car.

  Complete missions. This is the most straightforward method to get money. It won't be very profitable early on, but it will open up other ways to gain cash as you progress through the game.

  Enter the Turismo Races. You gain a certain amount of money for each race based on your performance.

  Start your Empire. Buying and upgrading businesses is the most profitable aspect of the game. Soon you can be making upwards of $50,000 each day if you work hard on your Empire.
