How to Watch Movies With Your PSP

The Sony PlayStation Portable isn't just a gaming console-you can watch movies as well, using two different media formats. To watch movies with your PSP you can use your Memory Stick Duo with video files stored on it or purchase movies in a special format called Universal Media Disk (UMD).

  • Sony PSP
  • UMD format movies
  • Sony Memory Stick Duo

Instructions

      Select the "Movie" icon from the Home menu display.

      Insert a Memory Stick Duo or UMD into the appropriate slot.

      Select the icon for the media when it is displayed on the PSP screen.

      If you inserted a Memory Stick and have several different files stored on it, press the left arrow button to select the one you want. Skip this step if your Memory Stick Duo has only one file stored on it or if you are using a UMD.

      Press the "X" button to start playback.
