How to Do Throws on Mortal Kombat: Unchained

Throws not only deal a lot of damage to your opponents in the PSP fighting game, "Mortal Kombat Unchained," but they also give you some breathing room to plan your next move. The game is a portable conversion of the game "Mortal Kombat Deception" but, due to there being less buttons on the PSP, the throw move has been remapped. Instead of triggering it with the shoulder buttons, the move is now done with a combination of the face buttons.

     Launch the game and select "Kombat" from the main menu.

     Select one of the available game modes and then select the character that you want to play as.

   • 3

     Wait for the round to start and then use the digital pad or analog stick to move closer to your opponent. In order to perform a successful throw, you must be within grabbing distance of your opponent.

     Press the "Triangle" and "Circle" buttons together to grab and throw your opponent.
