Cheats to Beat the Konquest for Mortal Kombat: Unchained

"Mortal Kombat: Unchained" is a fighting game released for the PSP in 2006. It includes a story mode, called "Konquest," in addition to the usual variety of modes found in most fighting games. Though no cheats exist for the game, tips and tricks are available that can help you to conquer the Konquest mode of "Mortal Kombat: Unchained."
  1. "Mortal Kombat: Unchained"

    • "Mortal Kombat: Unchained" is a port of the console game "Mortal Kombat: Deception." It includes a few characters that were not present in the console versions, such as Jax and Kitana. All of the game modes seen in "Deception" are present in "Unchained," including Konquest mode. This story-based mode follows new character Shujinko as he travels Earthrealm, Outworld and various other realms searching for pieces of the Kamidogu.

    Search Each Area

    • Each area holds many secrets, such as ̶0;koins,̶1; which can be used to purchase secrets, and crypt keys, which can be used to unlock new characters, stages and costumes. Koins can be found in houses and inside of items, while keys can generally be found as the result of sidequests. Speak to every person in each area; many people will give you a sidequest, such as fetching a specific item, and reward you with a key or a large amount of koins when the task is complete.

Complete All Quests Before Leaving the Village

    • You begin the game in the Earthrealm Village, devoting your first few hours to exploring the village and training with Bo'Rai Cho. After the fifth training session, you must defeat Bo'Rai Cho in a sparring match, relying on everything you̵7;ve learned up to this point. Once you defeat him, you are given the opportunity to leave the village. Once you leave the village, it is impossible to return. Make sure you have thoroughly searched each area of the village, conversed with everyone and completed every sidequest before you leave.

    The Green Aura

    • You̵7;ll often be instructed to go speak to a certain character to advance the story. New players to "Mortal Kombat" may not recognize a character by name alone and may be unsure of which characters to talk with in order to continue the story. Any character that has a story-based mission glows with a green aura, and talking to this character allows you to proceed to the next part of the story.

    After Konquest Completion

    • Once you have found all of the Kamidogu and defeated Scorpion, the story mode of Konquest is over. However, you can load a completed Konquest save to continue playing. New quests, characters and crypt keys can only be found using a completed Konquest save. Explore each of the realms thoroughly, talking to new characters you encounter as well as old characters, as they often have new quests or things to say.
