How to Add LBP PSP Costumes to a PS3

"LittleBigPlanet," released for the Sony PlayStation Portable in 2009, features downloadable content. This content comes in the form of additional costumes that the main character, Sackboy, can wear. While you can download costumes directly to your PSP from the PSP PlayStation Network Store, you can also download the costumes directly to your PlayStation 3 and copy them to your PSP. This is useful if your PSP is not connected to the Internet but your PS3 is connected. After the costumes are added to your PS3, you can transfer them to the PSP using the PSP USB cable.

Instructions

  Select "PlayStation Store" from the "PlayStation Network" tab on your PlayStation 3's main menu.

  Select "View All By Title," followed by "L" and "LittleBigPlanet PSP."

  Select the costume pack you wish to download. When the download is complete, return to the main menu of the PlayStation 3.

  Connect your PSP to the PlayStation 3 using the PSP USB cable. The PSP automatically enters USB Mode.

  Navigate to the "Game" menu on the PlayStation 3 and highlight the downloaded "LittleBigPlanet PSP" costume pack.

  Press the "Triangle" button on the PlayStation 3 controller.

  Select "Copy" followed by "Yes." The costume pack is copied from your PlayStation 3 to your PSP.
