How to Hook Up for Tag Force in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny

The first part of the "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny" game requires you to get a partner for the Tag Force tournament in the second part of the game. The first time you play through the game, you can partner with any of seven different characters. To partner with a character, you must get that character's relationship level with you to seven hearts.

Instructions

  Speak to Pharoah the Cat and ask him to follow you.

  Talk to Jaden Yuki, Syrus Truesdale, Chumley Huffington, Alexis Rhodes, Chazz Princeton, Bastion Misawa or Zane Truesdale. These are the characters you can partner with the first time through the game. Have a good or great conversation with them to increase relationship levels. If Pharoah the Cat is with you, you will always have great conversations.

  Give the characters sandwiches to increase their relationship level with you. The Golden Egg sandwich will always increase the relationship level by one point. Other sandwiches increase the level by varying amounts, depending on the character you're talking to.

  Ask the character to be your partner when your relationship level reaches seven.
