What Is Customize Mode in Undead Knights?

Dark Energy Points

• The Customize mode can only be used and accessed after you earn "dark energy" points. These points are awarded to you based on your performance in each level. The more people you kill and transform, the more points you will get for your characters. Each level ends with a data display that shows how many points you earned and for what categories. The points are split up between the three characters that you play with.

Customize Mode

• Select the "Customize" option at the end of the level. From here, select the character that you want to customize. Once selected, the menu will load with different categories like weapons, abilities and defenses. Use the D-pad to scroll through and see the different options for each category. There are animated previews for each of the visual items and descriptions for the non-visual items like power-ups.

Customize Options

• Highlight a specific item to see how many dark energy points it cost. If you want it, press the "X" button and it will automatically deduct the points and be added to that character. Once you complete the customized options for a character, press the "Triangle" button to return to the character list and select another character. You cannot customize a character while in the middle of a level, so make sure you change everything you want before starting a new level.

Benefits

• Customize Mode expands game play and makes it easier to get through specific levels. Adding extra weapons will diversify the game and prevent repetitive attacks on enemies. The further you get in the game, the more options will appear for your characters to upgrade. Save up as many dark energy points in early levels so you can spend them later as level difficulty increases.
