How to Win an Inferno Match in Road to WrestleMania 2010 for the PSP

"WWE SmackDown Vs. Raw 2010," a wrestling game for the PSP featuring characters from the WWE wrestling brand, offers a story mode in the form of the "Road to Wrestlemania" game type. Each of the six available characters have a story mode chronicling that characters matches leading up to WrestleMania. If you are using a created character in story mode, you must fight Kane during Week 11 in an Inferno Match. Unlike standard matches requiring you to pin your opponent to win, an Inferno Match has different victory conditions.

Instructions

  Perform moves that knock Kane to the mat, such as grapples or strong strikes. Each time you or your opponent touches the mat, the temperature of the ring ropes increases depending in accordance with the move's strength. The current temperature is located in the bottom right corner of the screen at all times. The temperature of the ring ropes begins at 375 degrees F and must be raised to 500 degrees F.

  Press and hold the right trigger on your PSP when the temperature reaches 500 degrees.

  Press "Circle" near Kane to perform a strong grapple.

  Press the button on the directional pad that moves you in the direction of the ring ropes on the left or right side of the ring. You must drag Kane to the center of the ropes. After dragging your opponent close enough to the center of the ropes, your wrestler automatically throws Kane out of the ring.

  Repeat these steps if the temperature of the ropes falls below 500 degrees F. After 15 to 20 seconds, the temperature falls from 500 degrees F if you do not throw your opponent out of the ring. Continue raising the temperature and attempt to throw your opponent out each time the temperature reaches 500 degrees F until you are successful.
