How to Have 999,999 Zenny in Monster Hunter Freedom 2

Like most other role-playing games, "Monster Hunter Freedom 2" puts you in the role of a warrior who must fight through hordes of monsters. Unlike other role-playing games, though, "Monster Hunter Freedom 2" does not pit you against countless weak beasts before fighting a stronger boss. Rather, the emphasis falls solely on quest-based boss battles. By completing these quests, you get zenny, which is the "Monster Hunter" equivalent to money. You bank eventually maxes out at 999,999 zenny, at which point -- no matter how you many enemies you fight -- you will not get more zenny until you spend some. Maxing your zenny out is a time-consuming process.

Instructions

    • 1

Play through the game normally until you receive the quest "Jungle Menace." This quest pits you against the Yian Kut-Ku, a wyrm with a heavy purse. Although some other enemies have more money than him, they're considerably harder to kill. The Yian Kut-Ku can be killed in just two minutes, meaning that you'll be able to farm it for zenny very efficiently.

    • 2

Kill the Yian Kut-Ku. The most efficient way to do this is to shoot it in the head with a bow. If your character doesn't have bow proficiency, than slash its wings with a sword or lance. It's legs have dense armor, so avoid attacking them. The head is weakest, then the stomach and wings.

    • 3

Repeat the quest until you've collected 999,999 zenny. In addition to getting zenny for killing the Yian Kut-Ku, you'll also get armor pieces, which can be sold for additional money.
