Instructions

    • 1

Open your web browser. Copy and paste the following web address to your browser's address bar:

      http://notaz.gp2x.de/pico.php

    • 2

Scroll down until you see the heading for the old 1.35b unofficial PicoDrive release. The release is about one-third of the way down the page.

    • 3

Click the "download" link next to "GP2X" or "PSP," depending on which handheld system you wish to install PicoDrive 1.35b to. Save the downloaded ZIP file to your computer's hard drive.

    • 4

Double-click the downloaded file to open the ZIP archive in a Windows Explorer window.

    • 5

Click the "Extract All Files" button to open a file extraction wizard. Specify the folder on your hard drive that you want to extract the files to and click the "Extract" button to unzip the files to that destination.

    • 6

Connect your PSP or GP2X system to your computer via a USB data cable. Windows automatically detects the device and opens the device's memory card in a Windows Explorer browser window.

    • 7

Copy and paste the entire unzipped PicoDrive folder to the /PSP/GAME folder on your PSP. Doing so installs the PicoDrive program on your handheld device.

    • 8

Right-click the USB connection icon in the Windows taskbar and safely remove the device from your system.
