How to Use Supply Markers in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

"Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker" continues the story of "Naked Snake," later known as "Big Boss," after the events of "Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater" and "Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops" for the PSP. The game features stealth game play through a variety of missions, and throughout the game you use many weapons and equipment. During many missions you can use supply markers, which will cause your backup to drop supply boxes of extra ammo and equipment. Using these at crucial times helps you succeed in the game.

     Equip the supply marker as a weapon, then "aim" with it.

     Set the marker by using it like a weapon, and stop aiming.

   • 3

     Walk away from the box and press the fire button again -- similar to how you would plant and detonate C4.

   • 4

     Move away from the supply marker to avoid getting knocked out by the box when it drops to the marker. You should get an audio confirmation before supplies drop. Note that supply markers work only in wide-open areas, because they drop from the sky.
