How to Cut Out Shapes in Little Big Planet for PSP

The video game "Little Big Planet" is designed for Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3) and PlayStation Portable (PSP) video game systems that contains robust level editing tools and an online community where users upload their creations. The PSP version of the game does not contain the same easy-to-use drawing tools found in the PS3 level editor. Users must insert and adjust anchor points on basic shapes to create custom objects with the PSP level editor.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to "My Moon" from the POD space station using the analog control sticks.

    • 2

Press the "X" button to select an unnamed level and select "Create" to open the empty level project.

    • 3

Press the "Square" button to access the "Popit" menu and press the "X" button to select the "Popit Cursor," then press "X" again to make a selection in the "Materials" menu.

    • 4

Move the left analog stick while holding the "X" button to create a rudimentary shape in the game world.

    • 5

Press the "Square" button to access the "Popit" menu. Press the "X" button to open the "Tools" menu and select the corner (or cursor) tool.

    • 6

Move the left analog stick to the edge of the created shape. Press-and-hold the "X" button to create an anchor point, then move the analog stick to alter the shape's dimensions.

    • 7

Continue creating and adjusting anchor points until the shape is complete.
