How to Get Weapons in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

"Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops" is an action game for the PlayStation Portable that, unlike other iterations in the "Metal Gear Solid" series, focuses on card-based combat. To attack an enemy, you have to play some type of offensive card, whether it be a CQC (Close Quarter Combat) card or a weapons card. Weapon cards can be particularly effective, because they attack an enemy from a long range while unleashing a much deadlier force.

Instructions

- 1
  Complete the game's numerous levels. Each time you complete a level, you unlock additional cards that can be earned later in the game. Many of these cards are elite weapons that often destroy any foe in a single hit.

  Purchase packs of cards from the game's shop. You can't manually select which cards you get, but you have a good chance of finding at least one weapon card in any pack of cards you buy.

  Play through the game as multiple characters. Many of the game's playable characters have a weapon card that is unique to them. To unlock it for play though, you must first complete the game with them.
