Things You'll Need
Instructions
Navigate to the QuickJump (QJ) website, which is listed in the Resources section below, and download the latest version of the Genesis emulator.
Right-click the downloaded file and select "Extract All." Specify any locations on your computer as the destination.
Connect your PSP to your PC via the mini-USB cable. Make sure you have enough space on the PSP memory card for the emulator and whatever games you want to play.
Navigate to the "GAME" folder on your PSP memory stick. It is located inside the "PSP" folder. Create a new folder called "Genesis" inside it. Copy the files that were extracted from the downloaded archive to the "Genesis" folder. You only have to copy over the "Eboot" and "PNG" files, not the text files.
Open the Genesis folder on the PSP memory stick and create a new folder inside it called "ROMS." Copy the Genesis games you want to play to this folder. The ROMS are available from sites such as ROM-world or ROMnation, which are listed in the Resources section below.
Disconnect your PSP from your PC and navigate to the "Memory Stick" option under "Game" from the PSP menu. The Genesis emulator will display at the top of the list of programs installed on the PSP.
Press "X" to start the emulator and select the Genesis game you want to play from the list.
