How to Pass the Torture Chamber Escape in MGS: Peace Walker

In "Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker," you assume control over Big Boss as he tries to infiltrate enemy territory and save the world---as per usual. Of course, saving the world is never that simple, and late in the game you find yourself captured by enemies and taken to a torture chamber to be electrocuted. To spare Big Boss this shocking fate, you'll need stealth, cunning and button-mashing skills---otherwise, the free world as you know it may be doomed.

Instructions

- 1
  Button-mash the triangle button repeatedly as Strangelove electrocutes you. He does this three times---the third one is most difficult, so be prepared to hit the button repeatedly as fast as you can to stay alive.

  Go to the mirror in your cell and use the action button to get the saw. Equip it and approach the bars of your cell. As soon as the guard walks away, use the action button to saw through the bars. Exit the cell and hide behind the nearest pillar.

  Wait behind the pillar until the guard returns. When he passes, sneak up behind him and choke him out---otherwise, he will sound the alarm, making the rest of this stage more difficult.

  Move to the western hallway and incapacitate the two guards there by sneaking up behind them and choking them until they pass out. Collect the supplies in this area once the guards are out of your way.

  Enter the room in the middle part of the western hallway. Use the control panel in this room to unlock the prison cells---this enables you to rescue the prisoner. Go to the prisoner's cell in the south hallway and use the Fulton to send him to Mother Base.

  Sneak back to the southeast exit to escape and complete the level.
