Conserving battery power without subjecting yourself to the systems' start-up load times is as simple as using sleep mode. This feature is designed so you can shut the system down without completely turning it off. It runs on the minimal amount of battery power it needs, and when you boot the system back up, you can pick up where you left off.

Slide the power/hold switch on the side of the system up.

Hold it in place for less than two seconds to initiate sleep mode.

Slide the switch up again while in sleep mode to wake your system up.
