How to Bring Up the Gauntlets of Zeus

In "God of War: Chains of Olympus," the Gauntlets of Zeus give you the strength to deliver powerful, crushing blows to your opponents. You will not have access to the gauntlets until later in the game, but once you have them equipped, you will notice a few options you did not have before, such as pulling off an enemy's head or pummeling him into submission. The Gauntlets of Zeus are hidden in the Temple of Zeus, deep within the Depths of Tartarus.

Instructions

- 1
  Stand in front of the throne in the Temple of Zeus throne room and rapidly tap the Circle button to kick the throne over.

  Examine the wall behind the throne for the Cryptkeeper's Key. Grab the key, and then jump down to the main floor.

  Pick up the corpse that fell out of the throne and place it on the large switch in the center of the room.

  Run to the platform that lowered as a result of hitting the switch and use the Cryptkeeper's Key to create another platform.
- 5
  Jump across the new path and pass into the next room of the temple. Here you will face two Hyperion guards---use the Plume of Prometheus to break their shields, and then kill them to proceed.

  Stand on the circle in the center of the room and tap the Circle button to bring the statue of Zeus tumbling to the ground. You can pick up the Gauntlets of Zeus after the statue has fallen.
