The How to Get a Partner Cheat for Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tagforce

Before you can make someone your dueling partner in "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force," you have to develop a relationship with her by learning about her personality, buying her her favorite sandwiches and answering her questions favorably. This can ultimately be very time-consuming because of all the research involved, but there is a way to cheat this system. All of the duelists seem to like cats, so if you can befriend a cat, you can say whatever you want and a duelist will still become your partner.

Instructions

  Go to the Store, where you can buy booster packs and other items, and buy a dried mackerel sandwich. Access the Store via the world map --- highlight Duel Academy and a list of locations will appear, including the Store. Select the Store from this menu to enter.

  Find Pharaoh, Lyman Banner's cat. Pharaoh moves around quite a bit, but you can usually find him hanging around the Red Slifer Dorms, where your character lives. He is typically at the bottom of the stairs outside your room or in the kitchen. If you don't find him at the Red Slifer Dorms, check the Ra Yellow Dorms, which you will find on the world map --- it is the yellow building adjacent to Duel Academy.

  Give Pharaoh the dried mackerel sandwich. He will take a liking to you and start following you around.

  Go to the duelist that you want to partner up with while Pharaoh is following you. Speak with her and choose any of the response options in all the conversation topics. No matter how you answer, the duelist will start liking you and decide to become your partner.
