Instructions
Go to the "Creator" box from the main menu of the game and select "Level Builder." If you have never played the level builder before, you will need to complete the first tutorial before you can create your own level. It is recommended that you complete all of the tutorials, which will give you step-by-step instructions on how to use the creator tools.
Select your background theme from the "Level Builder" menu. You can choose to start with a blank template or choose any of the templates from levels from the four Indiana Jones movies or the bonus levels in the game.
Run up to a wall and push it to expand the boundaries of your map if you want more room to work with.
Use the "L" or "R" buttons to switch builder character to Landscape mode, which places you in a UFO above the map. While in Landscape mode, use the "Square" and "Circle" buttons to raise and lower the landscape to create peaks and valleys.
Switch builder character to Baseplate mode. This allows you to place LEGO plates on the ground that include blank plates, roads and complex plates with pre-placed items.
Switch builder character to Objects mode, which changes your character to a construction worker. Use this mode to place props, bricks and other decorative objects. You can place hazards such as lava pits and saws that can be activated by a switch as well. Press the "Square" button to pick up objects to move them around or delete them once they have been placed.
Switch builder character to Enemies mode, which changes your character to Mola Ram. In this mode, you can place enemies, vehicles and creatures all around the map that will come to life once you switch to Play mode.
