How to Create Shock Traps

"Monster Hunter Freedom Unite" is the US title of the best-selling Japanese PlayStation Portable game "Monster Hunter Portable Second G." In this series, players control a customizable warrior who roams open-world style wild areas to find giant monsters to hunt, defeat, and strip down for useful items and trophies. Aiding you in this are two special "trap" items, which have to be combined from constituent items. One of these is the shock trap.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to the Pokke Village, and look for the Old Lady in the marketplace. Purchase as many trap tools as you think you'll need for 200z each.

  Travel to swamp or desert areas in any map, and look for a green and yellow raptor with a yellow crest. These are genprey. Kill a genprey and retrieve as many genprey fangs as you can.
- 3
  Return to town, and find your item box, which contains all of the items you've collected. Press "X" to select the box, and then select the option "Combine In Box." Combine the genprey fang with a trap tool to create a shock trap.
