Cheats for Spectral Souls

A Japanese import from the PlayStation 2 console, "Spectral Souls" for the PlayStation Portable is a strategy-based role-playing game with an expanded grid-based system. The game gives you control of three armies, each having a specific story throughout the game. There are many tips and tricks for "Spectral Souls" that will give you greater success as you play through the game.
  1. Door Breaking

    • There is a total amount of damage that can be done from a series of attacks on Door, which is minus-1 HP. For this reason do not use combo attacks on a gate's door. Use your party members that can only do melee attacks up close to the door using their attacks. Use party members that are better at ranged attacks attacking the door at a distance.

    Leveling with Speed

    • Characters that have the magic spell Speed Up can level up faster by using it continuously to gain more experience. This will also allow their turn to come up faster in battle. Your chances of being able to use your characters hidden abilities is also raised with continuous use of Speed Up. If your character does not have this ability, make your way to a store in the game and purchase it for 1,000 of your money.

    Charge

    • The charge ability allows a character to charge and use his attack with greater power. The only drawback to this ability is that your character will not attack right away. The trick is that you will need another character to attack the same enemy you plan on attacking with the same move. This will lead into the two characters using a super attack. This attack will be the difference between losing and winning some battles. Failing to have another character attack the same enemy with the same attack will waste the charge ability.

    Using "Hold" to Attack Effectively

    • While using the "Hold" button before selecting a character's skill, you can select as many attacks as you want as long as you have enough attack points. This allows your character to string together attacks without the menu selection breaks that come when you select skills one turn at a time. Combining attacks and spells, such as Ice and Wind, you will see an increase in attack strength.
