How to Make a Good Created Story in Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 for the PSP

In "WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010" for the PSP, players have the option of playing three modes: career mode, Road to WrestleMania mode or their own story mode in the WWE Story Creator. The creator allows players to make a story that lasts for as long as 10 years and feature an unlimited number of WWE superstars, including created wrestlers. Writing real WWE programming is hard enough, but you can stretch your limits to come up with good stories in the PSP game.

Instructions

    • 1

Watch current WWE story lines. For example, watch a full episode of "WWE Raw." What storylines stand out for you and are the most compelling? Write a few ideas down and branch out with new twists of your own.

    • 2

Use some of your favorite WWE wrestlers in a story. Use their personalities and characters to add to the story elements. For example, Randy Orton once had rage issues. Use this to give him the Hardcore title and set up Hardcore matches for him against other tough wrestlers to see who has the most rage.

    • 3

Recreate classic WWE story lines with your own view or updated twists. Matchups you can create include The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Jericho vs. John Cena, Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H and Big Show vs. Edge.

    • 4

Use multiple wrestlers to get involved in a story. A one-on-one feud can go on for only so long. If you use wrestlers in a role as a manager or tag-team partner, you can extend the feud and feature betrayals or triple-threat matches.

    • 5

Keep wrestlers fighting for the WWE championship. The main goal in the WWE is the championship, and keeping that as part of the drama will make the story lines more exciting.

    • 6

Add stipulation matches to the stories. For example, you could make CM Punk the "King of the Steel Cage" and have him spend a couple of months challenging opponents to steel cage and Hell in a Cell matches.
