How to Unlock the Bonuses on Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's

There are bonuses such as new cards and players that you can unlock in "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag Force 5" using the UMD Recognition feature that has been used in "Yu-Gi-Oh!" games for the PlayStation Portable since "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2." This system scans the data on the UMDs of prequels of the franchise to unlock powerful cards, including Egyptian God cards and new duelists. This process works for every version of the game. For example, if you have "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag Force 4," you can use the first three games to unlock new features.

Instructions

  Load your most recent copy of the "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's" game series for the PSP. Go to the main menu of the game.

  Scroll through the options on the main menu to get to "Database" and press "X" to see this submenu. Go to the "UMD Recognition" option and press "X" again.

  Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the game and insert a previous "Yu-Gi-Oh" UMD into the PSP. Close the UMD door and follow the instructions to have the PSP scan the UMD, then remove it and replace with the previous game. Repeat the process for any "Yu-Gi-Oh" PSP games you have to unlock their bonuses.
