Press "Circle," "Circle," "Square" and "Circle" to attack the Majidonga boss when he approaches you. Enter the defense beat "Triangle," "Triangle," "Square" and "Circle" when he tries to head-butt or leans back, which means he is about to breath fire. Keep repeating these two actions to defeat Majidonga and earn the Rain Miracle.
Equip the Rain Miracle and start the Desert mission. The miracle will start automatically as soon as the mission begins.
Enter the button combination "Square," "Square," "Square" and "Circle." This is normally the attack beat but its usual function does not apply when you are performing a miracle.
Press "X," "XX" and "XX." Double "Xs" mean these buttons must be pushed in quick succession. This is the same rhythm that you performed at the Ubo Bon tree earlier in the game. You are now in Miracle mode.
Copy the beats as shown on the screen to complete Miracle mode. Watch the border of the screen; it flashes when you are supposed to press a button. Use it to learn the rhythm.
Attack the Kacheek and Gancheek that you encounter with the button combination "Circle," "Circle," "Square" and "Circle." The Gancheek will turn into a snail when you destroy it.
Perform the Rain Miracle again using the instructions in Steps 2 to 4, when you make it to the talking sign. You need to do this because the sand dunes ahead can hurt you with fire, but rain will suppress this ability.
Enter "Circle," "Circle," "Square" and "Circle" to attack each of the stone blocks that you encounter until you have destroyed three or four of them, at which point the rain will run out.
Perform the rain miracle one last time. Attack the rest of the stones and the house at the end. You have now crossed the desert.
