How to Uncensor Manhunt 2 for PSP

"Manhunt 2" is a graphic and gory video game by Rockstar Games, the makers of the controversial series "Grand Theft Auto." "Manhunt 2" features brutal killings and vivid death scenes that resulted in the final content being censored from gamers. Downloading a PlayStation Portable homebrew kit results in the censored content being revealed.

Instructions

  Download the program UMDGen. Go to the PSP-Hacks website (psp-hacks.com). Click on link "PSP Downloads" in the top header, then click on "All PSP Downloads." Scroll down the page to find and download the UMDGen program.

  Use the UMDGen to open the "Manhunt 2" ISO. Extract the files named "PSP_GAME\USRDIR\GLOBAL\LVLSETUP.INI" and "PSP_GAME\USRDIR\LEVELS\A01_ES\GLVLSET.INI." Open these files in a notepad or any word-processing file.

  Look for and delete the following strings: "EXECUTION_COLRAMP_TEXTURE FE_execramps," "EXECUTION_COLRAMP_FLASH_TIMES 0.25, 0.6, 0.3" and
  
  "EXECUTION_COLRAMP_FADE_TIME 5.0." Delete these strings in both of the files you extracted.

  Replace the original file in "PSP_GAME\USRDIR\GLOBAL\LVLSETUP.INI" with the edited changes from your extracted file. Replace the "PSP_GAME\USRDIR\LEVELS\ with GLVLSET.INI" in all levels with the changes in your extracted file.

  Save the ISO and play the game in its uncensored format.
