How to Get the Materia Blade

"Final Fantasy Tactics" is a grid based tactical fighting game. In the game, you as the player can take control of multiple characters, including a "Final Fantasy" classic, Cloud Strife. In order to maximize Strife's attacks you will need to obtain the Materia Blade. "Final Fantasy Tactics" was released in 2000 on the PlayStation video game console. Wildly popular, it has been ported to many other systems since, including the PSP and Nintendo DS.

Instructions

  Acquire the Germinas Boots. These boots will allow your character to jump higher. Equip these boots to your Treasure Hunter character. The boots can be found at most shops throughout the game. The Germinas Boots will cost you $5,000.

  Search the area around Mount Bervenia and Riovanes Castle. During this time you will enter a random encounter. During this battle, move the Treasure Hunter to the top of the volcano. Use the Treasure Hunter's "Jump" ability to reach this area. You will need a jump rating of 4 to accomplish this.

  Examine the top of the volcano. The Treasure Hunter will be able to reveal the Materia Blade. Collect the Materia Blade and defeat the remaining monsters. If the Materia Blade is not present, repeat the process.
