Instructions
Play through Chapter 4 until you reach Bervenia. After the cutscene, check the rumors in the Gollund pub. Gollund lies in the middle of the map, directly south of Lesalia. Travel southwest to Dorter and read the pub rumors there. As soon as you leave Dorter, a battle starts. Defeat the party to get Balthier to join you.
Read the rumors at Gollund. Travel north to Lesalia. Beowulf will speak to you, getting you to accompany him back to Gollund. Fight through the mine until you reach the end. Rescue Dragon Reis during the last battle. Beowulf will join your party, while Dragon Reis joins on a temporary basis.
Turn Dragon Reis back into a human. Travel to Zeltennia in the far northeast. Read the pub rumors, then go east to Zarghidas. Buy the flower from the vendor after the cutscene. Travel southwest to the city of Goug. Watch the cutscene, then walk back to Zeltennia. Win the battle, and Reis will re-take her human form at the end of battle and join your party permanently.
Return to Goug. Make sure you have rescued Reis from Gollund beforehand. Construct 8 joins your party after a cutscene.
Obtain Cloud, from the role-playing game "Final Fantasy 7." After you have turned Reis back to a human, travel to Goug. Cloud will run off to the city of Zarghidas. Follow him there. Fight the thieves that are bothering the flower girl. Cloud will join your party. Travel to the Bervania Volcano to find the "Materia Blade" or otherwise all Cloud can do is defend and attack.
Travel to Midlight's Deep. The dungeon is an optional challenge that pits you against some of the hardest enemies in the game. Make your way east from the city of Warjilis to find it. Fight through all 10 levels until you reach the last level. Help The Biblos win the battle that follows and he joins your party.
