Instructions
Equip yourself with a strong weapon and good armor before going into battle against the Fatalis. If you are more of a melee fighter, bring the Onslaught Hammer or Juggernaut Hammer -- Pael Keizah, Eternal Schism and other anti-Dragon weapons are good, too. If you prefer ranged combat, bring the Akantor Bow. For armor, use the Tigrex armor or Silver Sol armor.
Stock up on healing potions, stat boosting items and barrel bombs. The Fatalis is immune to throwing bombs, but Large Barrel Bombs are very effective against it. Bring Whet Stones to keep your weapon effective. Power Juice, Mega Juice, Mega Demon Drugs and Mega Armor Skins are useful for this battle.
Use your stat boosting items at the beginning of the battle. If you brought them, use the Power Juice, Mega Juice, Mega Demon Drugs and Mega Armor Skins while running around the field to dodge the Fatalis' attacks.
Attack the Fatalis from an angle -- never advance on it head-on, or you will get hit by its fireballs. This only really applies if you are using a melee weapon. If you are using the Akantor Bow, keep your distance and fire on the Fatalis relentlessly. Aim for the wings and head to do the most damage. If you are using melee weapons, attack the head.
Use the Large Barrel Bombs whenever the Fatalis takes flight. Wait for it to slow down and hover, which it does just before landing. Go under its shadow and lay down a bomb. When the Fatalis lands, shoot the bomb to damage the Fatalis. You can use this strategy to bring the Fatalis down to the ground if it hovers with its tail dangling near the ground.
Keep attacking the Fatalis while keeping your health up and your weapons sharp with the Whet Stones. As the battle progresses, the Fatalis moves to different areas. You may find Ballistas and Dragonators in these areas. Use them when the Fatalis takes flight to damage it and make it crash to the ground. Keep up the attack pattern and the Fatalis will run away once you've done enough damage.
