How to Perform the Slashing Blow in Dissidia Final Fantasy

All of the characters in "Dissidia: Final Fantasy" have sets of default moves they can perform at the beginning of the game. You gain AP during battles which allow you to master each default move so you can learn a new one. One of Cloud's default moves is called "Slashing Blow." This is an aerial attack that consists of two horizontal slashes with his sword followed by a final vertical blow that slams the enemy to the ground.

Instructions

  Follow your enemy any time he jumps into the air. Slashing Blow is an airborne attack, so you can only do it while in midair. Alternatively, use an attack that sends your opponent flying into the air.

  Chase your enemy into the air by jumping and, if necessary, pressing "Triangle" and "R" together to perform an aerial dash.
- 3
  Press "Circle" three times in succession to perform a Slashing Blow attack. Do not hold the thumbstick in any direction while attacking. You may press up on the thumbstick to send your opponent flying into the air instead of crashing to the ground after striking the enemy twice. You can dash again after the attack and try to perform the attack a second time.
