Cheats for Chili Con Carnage

Invincibility Cheat

• Choose the option to create a new profile or change an existing profile. On that screen, type the name "Ernesto." This will make the character (who remains Ramiro) invincible to everything except explosions.

Level Bypass

• To skip the current level, press the button sequence "X," "Square," "Triangle," "Circle," "Select." This will also give you the "Gold" rank for the stage. The "Gold" rank means you can earn new characters and bonuses in your trophy room, such as concept art and production videos.

Infinite Ammunition

• If you kill foes in rapid succession and complete a level with a combo meter above zero, you will get a "chili." The chili unlocks infinite ammunition for certain weapons in certain stages. These stages and the gun cheats they unlock include Python in "Mucho Manure," Spaz in "Ay Mama," a hunting rifle in "Cargo Chaos," a heavy machine gun in "Los Toros," a shotgun in "Abandon Ship" and a rocket launcher in "Final Mission."

Secret Characters

• Some new playable characters are unlocked if you get a "Gold" rank in "Arena Del Toro" and "Getting Tanked." A "Silver" rank in "Ay Mama!," "Rooftop Inferno," "Carne Cesar," "Abandon Ship," "Supervilla," "Nice Wheels," "The Hacienda," "Ultimate Underworld" and "The Jungle" also unlocks new characters. These characters include Ernesto Cruz, D.J. Gunslinger, Mama Virgillo, Cesar Morales, Elvez Gonzalez and Marco. Select one of them when you start a new game (each one has controls similar to Ramiro's).
