How to Defeat Vilgax on Ben 10: Alien Force

"Ben 10: Alien Force --- Vilgax Attacks" is a computer game based on the popular Cartoon Network series. It allows players to take control of Ben Tennyson as he uses the Omnitrix to transform into 10 different alien species to stop the evil Vilgax from invading the Earth. Available on the Nintendo DS, "Vilgax Attacks" is a side-scrolling adventure game, in which players complete a series of quests before finally confronting Vilgax at the end of the game. Defeating Vilgax requires players to defend themselves against each wave of his attacks and then counterattack.

Instructions

  Survive each of Vilgax's attacks by transforming yourself into the alien species best suited to defend against that attack. Vilgax will attack using a sword, sledgehammer, laser gun and shield. Each attack has a strength that must be countered and a weakness exploited to defeat Vilgax.

  Transform into an alien whose attacks have longer range, such as Chromastone or Swampfire, when Vilgax uses his sword or laser gun to attack you. These weapons allows Vilgax to hit you at a greater distance than his others attacks. Using Swampfire's fireball attack or Chromastone's laser attack allows you to hit Vilgax from across the screen while staying out of range of his attacks.

  Use the Humungousaur alien to attack Vilgax when he begins attacking with his sledgehammer. Dodge the hammer and then move in closer to attack Vilgax with Humungousaur's combos as Vilgax pulls the hammer back for another attack. The slow nature of the sledgehammer's attack should allow you to do a lot of damage to Vilgax.

  Jump over Vilgax and attack his back when he switches to his shield attack. Transforming into a fast alien such as Jet Ray or Spidermonkey will allow you to quickly attack Vilgax's back before he has a chance to turn around. The shield attack is the last Vilgax uses, and once you have defeated him in this form you will have completed the game.
