"God Eater" is an action survival game set in a postapocalyptic world for the Sony PSP that places a lot of emphasis on character and weapon customization. One of the unique features of the game that sets it apart from other action survival games is its Predator Mode, which a player can engage during battle. Predator Mode causes the player's weapon to transform into a beast which lunges at foes and bites them. This helps you by giving you stat boosts and special ammunition.

Enter Blade form during a battle with an Aragami monster. Blades use Stamina, as compared with guns, which use Oracle Points.

Press and hold the Triangle button while in Blade form. As you do, your Blade transforms into its beast form.

Release the Triangle button when your Predator Mode has fully charged and your beast will lunge forward and bite your enemy.
