Naruto Accel 3 Unlockable Characters

"Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Accel 3," also known as "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3," is a ninja battling game for the Sony PlayStation Portable. Released in the United States on May 11, 2010, it features both a single-player campaign following the Shippuden story line and a four-player local co-op game mode. The game features a massive roster of 50 characters, encompassing heroes, allies, and villains from the series. Many of these need to be unlocked by completing various challenges and stages in the campaign.

Ally Characters
- The following allies can be unlocked in "Naruto Accel 3": Asuma, by beating Stage 6 in "Hidan and Kakuzu" Act 1; Captain Yamato, by beating Stage 6 in "Sasuke and Sai" Act 1; Chiyo, by beating Stage 6 in the "Kazekage Retrieval"Act 2; Gaara, by beating "Kazekage Retrieval" Act 3; Jiraiya, by completing the Square Bottom Row battle challenge in "Curse Seal" Act 4; Kakasi, by finishing Story 5 in the Prologue; Sai, by beating Stage 4 in "Sasuke and Sai" Act 1; Temari, by beating the "Kazekage Retrieval" Act 3; Kurenai, beating Stage 8 of "Hidan and Kakuzu" Act 2; Might Guy, by beating the last stage of the "Hidan and Kakuzu" Act 2; and Tsunade, by completing the second battle challenge in Naruto's Homecoming.

- You can unlock Akatsuki characters by completing certain stages of the campaign and challenges in "Naruto Accel 3": Deidara, by beating stage 3 in "Kazekage Retrieval"Act 1; Hidan, by beating Stage 8 in "Hidan and Kakuzu" Act 1; Itachi, by beating Stage 3 in the "Kazekage Retrieval" Act 2; Kakuzo, by beating Stage 5 in "Hidan and Kakuzu" Act 2; Kisame by beating Stage 8 in "Kazekage Retrieval" Act 1; Konan, by beating the Top Row battle challenge in "Curse Seal" Act 4; Animal Pain, by beating the Square Middle Row battle challenge in "Curse Seal" Act 4; Asura Pain, by beating the Square Middle Row battle challenge in "Curse Seal" Act 4; Deva Pain, by beating the Square Middle Row battle challenge in "Curse Seal" Act 4; Sasori and the Third Kazekage, by beating Stage 2 in the "Kazekage Retrieval" Act 3; Hiruko Sasori, by beating Stage 3 in "Kazekage Retrieval" Act 1; Tobi, by beating Stage 2 in "Hunt for Itachi" Act 2; and the True Form Sasori, by beating Stage 3 in "Kazekage Retrieval" Act 3.

- Other villains can be unlocked by completing stages and challenges in "Naruto Accel 3": Jugo, by beating Stage 8 in Part 1 of "Hunt for Itachi" Act 1; Kabuto, by beating Stage 5 in "Sasuke and Saii" Act 3; Kabuto under Orochomaru's possession, by beating the Kunai Square Top Row battle challenge in Part 2 of "Hunt for Itachi" Act 1; Karin, by beating Stage 4 in Part 1 of "Hunt for Itachi" Act 1; Orochomaru, by beating Stage 2 in "Sasuke and Sai" Act 2; Sasuke, by beating Stage 7 in "Sasuke and Sai" Act 3; and Suigetsu, by beating Stage 3 in Part 1 of "Hunt for Itachi" Act 1.

- Alternative costumes and secret characters can also be unlocked in "Naruto Accel 3": Four-tailed Naruto, by beating "Sasuke and Sai" Act 2; and School Naruto, School Sasuke, Obito, Young Kakashi and Yellow Flash, by beating the Kunai Square Middle Row battle challenge in Part 2 of "Hunt for Itachi" Act 3.
