How Do I Get the Cooking Minigame in Patapon?

"Patapon" is a unique rhythym-action game released for the PlayStation Portable in 2008. In it, players control the chieftain, who issues orders to his tribe of Patapon via drum semaphore. To help you keep the beat, your tribe responds to your drumming with call and response chanting. In the RPG-like missions you undertake, you can bring along different kinds of Patapon, items, weapons and spells. One of these items is a health-boosting stew that you can make only in the cooking minigame.

Instructions

  Complete Mission 16, "A Ray of Hope" to unlock the Mission 17, "World of Ooze."

  Enter Mission 17 and attack the crab creatures here, called Parcheek. The spearmen and bowmen are best at this task. The item you are looking for is called the Gashapon Cap. If you complete the mission without finding this item, retry the mission until you get it.

  Return to the tribe home screen and go to the create Patapon screen. The Gashapon Cap will let you create Gashapon, who moves to the right of the screen to host the cooking minigame. He will only accept cabbages to activate the game.
