How to Save in Peace Walker

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, is a PSP exclusive title, set after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Players control Big Boss/Naked Snake and a selection of various operatives to complete missions and expand the influence of Outer Heaven, the sovereign nation run by Big Boss. Series Producer Hideo Kojima considers Peace Walker to be Metal Gear Solid 5, a direct continuation of the series, rather than an offshoot. There are two ways to save the game in Peace Walker.

Instructions

- 1
  Start a game, then complete the initial training missions. At the end of these missions, you'll be given a headquarters called "Mother Base." On this screen, tap the "R" button. The first option here is the "Save" option.

  Complete the mission you're currently playing. Press "X" at the "Results" screen, which will take you back to Mother Base. This auto-saves the game.
- 3
  Lightly tap the power button to the right, rather than holding it. This will quick-save the current mission. Be warned that this lasts only as long as the battery holds out in sleep mode, so take care to finish the mission in order to save properly.
