Buzz! Master Quiz
Buzz! is a trivia game series for Sony's portable console with nine published titles, including a brain teaser game and special editions for the United Kingdom, France and Germany. On "Buzz! Master Quiz" you take the role of a TV game contestant, trying to answer the multiple choice question as fast as you can. The multiplayer mode offers a number of extra challenges, including a task where you have to crop a picture of famous landmarks so that your opponents cannot recognize it; and the "weak spot" -- passing a question to the opponent you believe is least capable of answering.
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire: Party Edition
If you have watched the game on television you don't need any particular instructions to play the game. "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" allows you to choose from a number of cartoonish characters and start your ascent towards the 1 million British pounds prize. Select one of the four possible answers using the X, square, circle and triangle buttons. You can also seek help with the game's three lifelines: 50-50, ask the audience or call a friend.
Telly Addicts
As the title suggests ("telly" is a British colloquial term for television), this trivia game tests your knowledge of TV programs. Based on a long-running TV game, broadcast by the BBC from 1985 to 1998, the PSP version brings back host Noel Edwards to ask you questions on American series, British soap operas, cartoons and TV commercials among others. Each question is accompanied with a picture or video clip, a helpful feature for players who rely on their visual memory.
Quiz Animania
Quiz Animania is one of the so called "Minis" games -- simpler, smaller and cheaper games available solely for download at the PlayStation store (See Resources). The game is targeted mainly to young players and focuses on animal knowledge. Players see individual characteristics of animals, such as horns or tails, as well as blurred and clear pictures of animals and have to choose the correct answer out of the four options provided. The game also offers a multiplayer mode on a single PSP device, with Player 1 using the D-pad and Player 2 using X, circle, triangle and square.
