How to Get Demon Fangs in Patapon 2

As with its predecessor, "Patapon 2" requires you to evolve Patapon characters into Rarepons using items dropped by enemies. Evolving your characters makes them more powerful with new abilities that are needed to fight high-level bosses later on in the game. Some of the most powerful evolutions, such as Sabara, Mogyu and Gyaba, require the use of Demon Fangs, which are extremely rare items. Demon Fangs can be acquired only during fights with two specific bosses.

Instructions

  Play through Mission 12 or Mission 14 to get to the large spider bosses at the ends of each mission. The spider boss at the end of Mission 12 is Centura and the one at the end of Mission 14 is Darantula. A fight with either boss offers many opportunities to get Demon Fangs as well as other fang items.

  Save your game right before the battle so that you can start over right from the beginning of the fight without having to retrace your steps over again.

  Cast Miracle of Rain at the beginning of either battle to reveal Centura or Darantula. They are very difficult to see unless it is raining, so make the battle easier by changing the weather.

  Attack Centura or Darantula relentlessly. Both bosses automatically drop items any time they stagger, but Demon Fangs are extremely rare drops for both of them. Use fire-based attacks and aim for the head to make the spiders stagger more often.
