How to Use Ghost Charge With Aqua in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep

The 2010 PSP game "Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep" is a prequel set before the events of the original PlayStation 2 "Kingdom Hearts" game. You play three separate storylines as the characters Terra, Ventus and Aqua throughout the game. Aqua is the only character who can use the "Ghost Drive" ability. Ghost Drive makes Aqua move so quickly there appear to be multiple versions of her, which makes it difficult for the enemy to pinpoint the real her and attack.

Instructions

  Defeat Neverland's boss, Vanitas. You can't perform Ghost Drive until you successfully beat Vanitas as Aqua at the end of the Aqua Neverland level. Raise Aqua to level 20 or higher in order to beat Vanitas.

  Open the Command Gauge menu directly above the Command Decks menu.

  Check your current Command Gauge levels. Your Command Gauge changes depending on the types of attacks you use during combat. Monitor this Gauge to see how close you are to using Ghost Charge.

  Fill the Command Gauge with Magnet and Thunder-based commands. Use Magnet and Thunder-based spells and attacks during battle as often as possible without switching to another type of spell or attack to increase your chance of activating Ghost Charge. Aqua will automatically use Ghost Drive when the Command Gauge is full.
