Begin in Super Saiyan Form
You can use this cheat to start out any battle in Super Saiyan form immediately. When you are choosing your character, hold the "R" button and simultaneously press the "X" button. You will hear a distinct noise that is different from the normal "character select" sound. You must pick a character that is capable of going Super Saiyan during battle for this cheat to work.
Fused Characters
There are several fused characters that you have to perform special tasks to unlock. To unlock Vegito, you must complete all seven chapters in the storyline. Vegito is playable only in arcade mode. To unlock Gogeta, you must take the path that goes straight in Chapter 6. To unlock Piccolo after he has fused with Kami, you have to beat him in the alternate route you can take in Chapter 3.
Vegeta And Buu
To unlock Majin Vegeta, you must complete the final chapter without allowing enemies to destroy any cities. This also unlocks "Ending A". To unlock Buu with Gotenks absorbed, you have to finish the second level of Chapter 7. To unlock Buu after he has absorbed Gohan, you must finish the third level of Chapter 7.
Miscellaneous Characters
To unlock Bardock you must defeat him in Chapter 5, and you have to beat him with Goku. To unlock Debora, all you have to do is defeat him in during Chapter 2. Finish mission No. 2 in Chapter 2 to unlock Cooler in his final form. To unlock Future Gohan, finish Chapter 5 with any character. To unlock Super Saiyan 4 Goku, you have to beat the entire game without taking any alternate paths.
