Things You'll Need
Instructions
Use the eye glasses screwdriver to remove the screws around the faceplate of the PSP. Take the faceplate off. The goal is to paint only the faceplate and not the screen or the buttons, so the faceplate must be removed. Keep all your screws in one place so you can put them back later.
Apply tape to the PSP screen. Tape over the entire screen and eliminate any gaps on the sides. This will prevent any paint from leaking onto your screen. Even a tiny hole in the edge of the tape can result in paint getting on your screen.
Lightly sand your PSP. This helps give the paint a surface area to stick to.
Hold the primer about a foot away from the faceplate and spray a light coating on. Repeat this two to three times. This also helps the paint stick and makes the color come out better. Let the primer dry.
Hold the paint can about a foot away from the faceplate and spray lightly. Keep spraying until the color is just right, but don't over do it and over saturate any one area. Let the paint dry.
Hold the coating spray can about a foot away and spray lightly. Allow it to dry.
Remove the tape and screw the faceplate back on. Let everything dry.
