Click "Start," "Internet Explorer." Navigate to the Tight VNC website and download the software for your computer. Click the download link next to "Self installing package for Windows" and then double click the "setup.exe" file when the download is complete. Follow the setup wizard prompts and go through the steps of installing the program on your PC. Enter a password to protect your PC from being attacked by unauthorized users using their own VNC software.
Navigate to the QJ website and download the free portable VNC homebrew application for PSP. Right-click on the downloaded file and select "Extract" to unzip the file. Keep the folder where you extract the files open as you will need to copy it to your PSP.
Connect your PSP to your PC via the mini USB connector cable. Press "X" on the "USB Connection" tab under settings on your PSP cross menu bar. Windows detects the PSP as a new drive and the autoplay menu will appear. Click "Open Folder to View Files" in order to see the contents of your PSP memory card.
Copy the contents of the ZIP file you extracted to the "GAME" folder on your PSP. The "GAME" folder will be inside the "PSP" folder in the root of the memory card. If the folder does not exist, right-click and click "New" then "Folder" to create it.
Disconnect the PSP and then go to the settings bar and scroll down to "Power Save Settings." Press "X" to turn the "WLAN Power Save" setting to "Off."
Select the "Game" tab on the PSP menu and then scroll down to "Memory Stick." Press "X" to show a list of programs that can run from the memory stick. Press "X" on the PSP VNC program that will be listed to run it.
Press "X" on the "Wireless Access Point" option then again on "Ad new host." This will allow you to connect the PSP to the computer where the VNC software is installed. Flip the "WLAN" switch on the PSP to its "On" position for it to detect your wireless network.
Enter your computer's IP adders into the PSP VNC. If you don't know the IP address of your computer click the "Start" button on your PC and type "CMD" in the "Search Programs and Files" box. Press "Enter" and then type "Ipconfig" to display the IP address of your PC along with other info like its subnet mask. The IP address will be displayed in the format "45.165.18.250" where your numbers will be unique to your PC.
Enter a name for your connection after entering the IP address on your PSP. Any name will do so make it something like "PSP VNC Home PC." Press "X" and then select a host icon that will show what kind of PC you will be connecting to, "Mac," "Windows," "Linux."
Press "X" on your new connection and it will connect to your PC displaying the desktop of PC on your PSP screen. If you set a password from the VNC program installed on your PC, you will need to enter that password on your PSP before you will be able to connect.
