How to Play Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters on an Ad Hoc

"Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters" was originally an action platform game for the PlayStation 2. However, in 2007, the game was ported to the PSP system with several additional features, including a multiplayer ad-hoc mode that supports up to four players. This mode is extraneous to the main story mode, but serves those who like to play competitively with friends.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the "Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters" UMD into your PSP and power it on. Make sure that everyone who wants to participate in the multiplayer match does the same and is sitting no more than 20 feet away from other players.

    • 2

Go to the main menu and then select the multiplayer option. Select "Ad-hoc" from the options screen. On the next screen, select the "Create" function for a new multiplayer match.

    • 3

Have other players "Join" the match you just created. The PSPs should link up instantly, and the match creator can add all players in range to the match. Once everyone is in the game room, select a match type and play the game.
