How to Get Fire Wyvern Marrow on Monster Hunter 2

"Monster Hunter Freedom 2" for the PSP sends you on a quest to battle the world's wildest and fiercest creatures, hunt for treasures and make an array of custom weapons and armor. In the game, parts and equipment are needed to craft new items. One ingredient that is rare and difficult to obtain is Fire Wyvern Marrow. This substance can only be found by defeating Rathalos or Rathian, Wyverns that resemble large, fearsome dragons. Once you have defeated one of these monsters, you can use the Carve ability to break down its components into new ingredients.

Instructions

  Stock up on potions, steaks and other healing items before going into battle. Flash bombs and a powerful weapon are also very helpful.

  Walk around until you encounter a Rathalos or Rathian. Defeat the monster in battle by stunning it with flash bombs, then attacking.

  Walk up to the monster's corpse when it is defeated, and stand by either the tail or the body.

  Select the "Carve" option that appears. Using this ability, you may obtain Fire Wyvern Marrow. You may carve the monster's body up to three times before it disintegrates, and the tail can be carved only once.
