How to Get Past the Prison Level on Daxter

The Krimzon Guard prison is the final level in "Daxter." Your goal is to sneak through the prison to rescue Jak. The mission is partially stealth based, and Daxter should attempt to sneak behind Krimzon Guards rather than attempt to fight them. Kaedan, the main antagonist, is the final boss encountered after reaching the end of the prison.

Instructions

- 1
  Sneak behind the first guard at the beginning of the prison level.

  Board the red Zoomer to start the next cutscene. The guard you bypassed begins to chase you after the cutscene.

  Drive your Zoomer into the white arrows to increase your speed. Avoid the blue shields, which slow you down when hit. The chase ends when the guard crashes. This occurs automatically as long as you do not let the guard catch up to you.

  Take the elevator to the next floor. It is located on top of the ladder you see after the chase ends.

  Follow the guard to the next elevator. You need to wait for him to pass you before you move, in order to avoid being spotted.

  Follow the next guard as he moves into the next room. Pick up the key in this room.

  Go out the door to your right. Take the elevator down.

  Follow the guard until you enter the vents.

  Follow the path until you see two guards. Wait for one guard to enter the room and the other guard to turn around. Both guards must be unaware for you to avoid being spotted.

  Run past the guards and around the corner to your left.

  Follow the path. You will eventually reach the mini-game that blocks you from reaching the end of the prison.

  Press the directional pad or buttons indicated on the screen to beat the mini-game. This brings you to the end of the prison level.
