How to Get Your PSP to the Boot Up Screen

The PSP is a popular video game system manufactured by Sony for portable use. If you need to alter the settings of your system or reboot, you can use the Boot Up menu for easy access to the system. This screen is only available to those running custom firmware. Thankfully, navigating to the screen is a simple task that you can complete in a just a few minutes.

      Turn off the PSP by sliding the power switch on the right side of the PSP to the "Off" position.

      Turn the PSP over, and remove the battery cover and battery from the PSP.

      Place the battery back inside the PSP, and return the battery cover so that the battery is secure.

      Hold the "Right Trigger" on your PSP, and slide the power switch to the "On" position. You can let go of the right trigger as soon as the "Boot Up" screen is visible.
