How to Get a Light Crystal in Monster Hunter Freedom 2

In Monster Hunter Freedom 2 for the Sony PSP, hunters are faced with the daunting task of slaying vicious creatures in the world's harshest environments. Throughout the game, hunters can attempt to collect numerous pieces of armor, weapons and items. One item many hunters find important is the light crystal. Light crystals can be used to craft powerful items, such as swords. These crystals may be found in several different locations.

Instructions

- 1
  Earn at least 300 points by playing through the quests in the game. Pay Trenya 300 points to take his boat to the Swamp Zone. He returns with random loot, which may include a Light Crystal.

  Mine for items until you have reached G-Rank. This rank allows you to unearth better items and treasures. Go to the Swamp Mines with a Mega Pickaxe and use it on the mining spots to dig up treasure. You have a chance of digging out a Light Crystal.

  Fight monsters until you find a Gypceros. The Gypceros is a bird wyvern that resembles a dragon. Use a hammer or other heavy weapon to smash the crystal on top of the Gypceros' head. This method always rewards you with a light crystal.
