Power Cycle
"Power cycling" is a fancy term for the simple fix of turning a device off, counting to 10, and then turning it back on. While it may seem silly, sometimes a quick reboot is all a device needs to start behaving again.
Contrast
Check the contrast controls. It is possible that the PSP's brightness setting was accidentally turned up all the way. Returning it to a balanced level may fix the problem.
Uninstall the Upgrade
Custom PSP hacks, mods or otherwise altered system files can pose instability issues for your device. Uninstall any programs that you have recently added to your PSP.
