Things You'll Need
Instructions
Download and install Rockstar Custom Tracks on your PC using the IG link in Resources. You won't end up using this program, but it is a prerequisite for Exact Audio Copy to work.
Download and install Exact Audio Copy onto your computer using the link in Resources.
Download a save game file for Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, unless you already have one on the memory of your PSP. Use the GameFAQs link in Resources to download a file if you don't have one.
Connect your PSP to your computer using a USB cable and open the PSP drive when it comes up on your computer.
Insert the CD with whatever songs you wish to have on your custom soundtrack list in the game. Open Exact Audio Copy, and when the CD has been detected by the program select the tracks you plan to add. Hold "Control" if you wish to add multiple tracks at once.
Click on the icon with an arrow pointing toward a PSP to add the songs.
Go into your PSP drive and open the "SAVEDATA" folder. Search through the folder for all icon files. Identify the icon with a picture of a man on a motorcycle. Write down the name of the file, as it represents Vice City Stories.
Find the "CUSTOMTRACKS" folder, and insert the name of the file from the previous step before "CUSTOMTRACKS" in the title. In most American versions it will be named "ULUS10160CUSTOMTRACKS."
Disconnect your PSP from your PC and begin playing Vice City Stories. Load a saved game file, pause your game, and under the audio options select "Custom Tracks" and turn it on.
