Cabelas Games for PSP

Cabela's is a clothing and accessories manufacturer that specializes in outdoor and hunting gear. Due to its prominent place in the hunting world, Cabela's has sponsored outdoor events and has lent its name to several different video game titles. Sony's PlayStation Portable, a handheld gaming system also called the PSP, is home to multiple entries in the Cabela's hunting video game series.
  1. "Cabela's African Safari"

    • Activision released "Cabela's African Safari" for the PSP in October of 2006 as a single player game. Also developed by Activision, "Cabela's African Safari" is rated suitable for players at least 13 years old. While many hunting video games feature common animals such as deer, "African Safari" challenges players to hunt exotic animals such as leopards and rhinos. Players must travel across a handful of countries in pursuit of finding animals set forth in the game's objectives.

    "Cabela's Dangerous Hunts: Ultimate Challenge"

    • Activision released "Cabela's Dangerous Hunts: Ultimate Challenge" for the PSP in April of 2006. "Ultimate Challenge" was the first hunting title to reach the PSP, and it is rated acceptable for players 13 and over. The story of "Ultimate Challenge" requires players to embark on a mission to rescue a friend while hunting dangerous animals in the process. An additional game format lets players focus solely on hunting rather than finding the main character's friend.

    "Cabela's Legendary Adventures"

    • Activision created and released "Cabela's Legendary Adventures" for the PSP in September of 2008. A single player game only, "Legendary Adventures" is rated appropriate for those 13 and older. Players must find the biggest animal possible while searching for several different species across different countries. All of the hunting gear and accessories featured in "Legendary Adventures" is modeled after real-life Cabela's products. Players can also try historic missions that allow them to use hunting gear and techniques from the past.

    "Cabela's North American Adventures"

    • As of mid-August 2010, "Cabela's North American Adventures" is set for a September 2010 release on the PSP system. Created by Activision, the game is rated acceptable for players 13 and above. Players are challenged to hunt down different species of animals across different North American regions while using the proper techniques and weapons to get the job done. Players are also able to customize their weapons to their own desired specifications.
