Tony Hawk's Project 8
Activision released "Tony Hawk's Project 8" for the PSP platform in 2006. The game provides an entire city full of areas for players to skate, combining many of the popular areas of past Tony Hawk video games, including Suburbia, Factory and School. Gamers are provided with a variety of skateboarders and tricks for a massive skating experience. The game's soundtrack includes bands like Primus, Slipknot, Sonic Youth, Joy Division and Wolfmother.
Skate Park City
"Skate Park City," released in 2008 by Midas Interactive, is a PSP game that pits players against a villain known as the Virus. Players join fellow skaters to retrieve a captured friend, implementing manuals, grinds and kicks to progress through the game's story. Players must battle through several challenges and enemies to reach the game's end. Each task puts the player one step closer to retrieving his friend and skating free again.
Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix
In 2005, Activision released "Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix,"the sixth in the "Tony Hawk" video game series. Players complete a skateboarding tour of various global locales including Boston, Barcelona, Berlin, Bangkok and Sydney. The game's story is partially based on the television show "Viva La Bam." Other versions of the game were made for PS2, PC, Game Boy Advance, GameCube and Xbox.
